Francis Chen

Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer

Francis directs the realization of Integral’s vision: to defy entropy and ensure the continual improvement of a complex world. He previously worked at Palantir Technologies for over five years, as a software engineer and product manager. He served industries such as energy, aviation, government, and media; and co-authored four patents. Francis received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Computer Science and Engineering at MIT. His thesis was in the field of computational neuroscience – his reflections on the complexity and wonder of the human mind are a key inspiration for Integral.

Anubhav Jain

Michael MacNamara

Advisor

Michael (Mac) McNamara has been CEO of Adapt-IP since 2013 — the company develops computer design intellectual property (IP) using SystemC modeling and design technology. Previously, he served as Cadence’s vice president and general manager for System Level Design. His early experiences as a computer architect and chip designer at ESL/TRW, Cydrome, Ardent, Stardent, and Kubota prepared him for the career transition to become a supplier of tools to chip designers and computer architects. He served as vice president of engineering at Chronologic — the developer of VCS, now the flagship simulation product for Synopsys. In the late 1990s, he helped bring better verification technology to the market as CEO of SureFire and senior vice president at Verisity.

Our story

We’re a team of three co-founders and one advisor — we’ve bootstrapped Integral using our own time and funding. We started in the field of sports analytics, and have since expanded to the health insurance sector. We’re based in New York City.
